What is Hillcrest Lavender Farm's photography policy? Photography Policy General Visitor Photography Policy: Photography (still and video) is permitted for private, non-commercial use only. Amateur photographers do not exchange money or services for the photographs. Amateur photographers are only allowed to use their handheld multipurpose devices(i.e. cell phones). No tripods, props, light shields, etc. are permitted for amateur photographers. No drones are allowed to be flown over the farm without the express permission of the owners. Hillcrest Lavender Farm LLC staff reserve the right to determine if your shoot is commercial in nature and may ask any unauthorized individuals to suspend their photographic activities. Photographs cannot be published, sold, reproduced, transferred, distributed, or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever without written consent by Hillcrest Lavender Farm LLC. Hillcrest Lavender Farm LLC reserves the right, and its sole discretion, to withhold and/or withdraw permission to photograph on its premises or to reproduce photographs of objects in its collection. NO BOUDOIR or NUDE photography is allowed as this is a family friendly farm. Photos must be appropriate for all audiences and this will be determined at the discretion of the owners who will have final say in this regard. Violators will be required to destroy any inappropriate photographs and leave the farm. Professional Photoshoot Policy: Professional photoshoots include senior portraits, family portraits, sweet 16 photos, baby photos, dance or cheer team photos, wedding photos, engagement photos, and those selling and using materials for professional purposes including hair salons, stylists and dress designers. Arrangements must be made in advance by calling (607) 224-5135. There is a fee for this service. Professional photographers bringing in customers must provide proof of liability insurance. This is not negotiable. All sessions will be scheduled outside of normal business hours. Small group(single family up to 6 members) or individual sessions will last one hour from the agreed upon starting time with a fee of $50.00 which will be paid in advance. Large group(i.e.wedding or extended family ) sessions will last one hour from the agreed upon starting time with a fee of $100.00 which will be paid in advance. In addition, groups who arrive early/stay late may be assessed an additional prorated fee. A Photographer running multiple ‘Mini-sessions’ will be charged at the large group rate. Remember we are a working farm. There are bees, bugs and uneven footing on the farm. Please keep this in mind if it will be a problem for you or the people you are photographing. Dressing rooms are not available and restrooms are not to be used for this purpose. We enjoy having photographers at the farm and ask that you abide by the rules to keep it fun and enjoyable for everyone. What is Hillcrest Lavender Farm's return policy? Return Policy We have established this return/refund policy to provide our customers with a complete understanding of how replacement orders or refunds are processed: If customer places an order but provides information that prevents direct delivery such as in the case of a incorrect or invalid address, additional shipping/handling fees will automatically be assessed to retrieve original shipment (whenever possible) and re-ship to correct address. If shipment is not retrievable, no refund will be provided. Hillcrest Lavender Farm, LLC is not liable for customer errors that result in the over-ordering of a product. During the checkout process the customer is provided with a total of the order PRIOR to the order being submitted. The customer is given the option to remove items or reduce the quantity ordered. Hillcrest Lavender Farm, LLC makes every effort to review orders where multiple quantities of a same item are ordered but we do not guarantee, nor are we liable, for any order sent out exactly as the customer ordered. If a customer orders more than one of any single item but meant to send a lesser quantity and the ordered amount is sent to the recipient, no refund can be offered as what was ordered is what will be delivered. We will gladly refund/credit products that are returned unopened and unused. Return shipping costs of these items will be the responsibility of the customer.
