About the Event

Starting Friday, July 5 Lavender U-Pick for our main field will begin and run for four weeks (or as long as the lavender lasts), Wednesday thru Sunday, 10am to 5pm. We will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for field maintenance.

Come experience the lavender field on our hillside overlooking the beautiful Chenango Valley.  Spend time exploring the lavender field or our walking trails.  While here you can visit our shop where many of the products we sell are made with our lavender that we harvest and distill onsite. You can also feel free to walk our short trail through the woods, have a picnic at one of our three picnic tables, visit with our sheep(a.k.a. weeding equipment!), or simply relax and enjoy the view.  No need to rush off!

We also have several seating areas, a lawn swing, and even a gazebo in the lavender.

You do not need to register for this event

Please feel free to share our exciting news with family and friends and on social media. As a small business we always appreciate the help in spreading the word.

Entrance Fee

Due to the large number of visitors and the high maintenance cost of the lavender field, we will be charging an entrance fee:

  • $3.00 per person
  • 12 and under are free

The entrance fee is good for the entire day so you may leave to enjoy local restaurants or other attractions and return as desired.

Refund Policy

Once you enter the field no refunds will be given.

Visitor Policy

  • We kindly ask you to be respectful of other guests, our field, equipment, and our animals during your visit.
  • Children must be supervised and under your control at all times.
  • Pets are not allowed on the farm. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
  • We will provide cutting tools. Please do not bring your own tools. This is to protect our plants from disease as we use no chemicals in our field.
  • Please pick only in designated areas. We reserve some areas for photoshoots. You may take photos in these areas but you may not pick lavender. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if this rule is not followed.
  • Personal photography is permitted but we are a family-friendly farm and all photography must be appropriate as determined by our staff. Please see our photography policy in our FAQs for specific details.
  • U-Pick is not to be used for photoshoots without explicit permission. Please see our photography policy in our FAQs. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if the rules are not followed.
  • We are a working farm. The terrain may be uneven, so please wear appropriate footwear. We strongly suggest that closed flat shoes be worn - please do not wear elevated, heeled shoes. There are bees, butterflies, and other insects that you will find outdoors and in nature. Please protect yourself if you are concerned about insects.
  • Guests voluntarily assume all risks and dangers incidental to any event and waive all claims against the event sponsor and the owner of the facility. Admission is subject to compliance with all laws and facility rules and guests consent to reasonable examinations and searches to ensure compliance.
